MAGNETISM AND OUR
BRAIN
FUNCTION:
EVEN
MINUTE MAGNETISM
WOULD AFFECT THE
HUMAN
HEART
R
Sperry
a Nobel Laureate
in
Medicine (1981) for establishing the
concept of
"split-brain": the
function
of
the 2 sides ol our highly
developed
brain differs, e.9.,
the
left
appears
to
be
"digital" whereas
the
right,
'hnalog".
Modern man has predomi-
nantly "digital thinking". As weak
magnetism
of
the
Earth
mayworsen
cardio-vascular diseases
or
affect
physiological changes
in
the
female,
our brain
is
also affected
by
the envi-
ronment
in
which
we
work.
Now,
with
the ability to deliberately shield off
magnetism, studies on
the
human
brain activities are
feasible. Studies
show
that
schizophrenia attacks
may
be
related to
the disturbance
of
the
Earth's
magnetism;
the
reverse
is
true for occurrence of convulsions.
Consisting
of
a dual layer
of
fat mol-
ecules
with
scattered
protein
receptors,
the
membrane
of
the
nerve
cell
is
also
a'\vindovy''to
out-
side
-
the
receptors
receive only
spe-
cific
chemicals
that
could couple with
them
-
these and other properties
may
be
affected
by
magnetism, e.9.,
the sodium pump
mechanism
of
membranes. While magnetic neck-
laces are effective for shoulder pain,
the research on magnetism on the
brain has only
just
begun.
