Causation
is
complex. Traditional
Chinese medicine recommenda-
tions depend
on
the predominant
presentation:
(1
)
depression
and
restlessness, to sooth
the
liver;
(2)
agitation and easy anger, to
purge
the liver heat;
(3) depres-
sion and irritation, to promote cir-
culation and dispelling
blood
stasis;
(4) depression together
with
functional
swallowing
problems, loosening the phlegm;
(5) restlessness,
poor concen-
tration,
paranoid ideas; unstable
moods, etc., to sooth and relieve
promptly;
(6)
over
suspicion,
easy fatigability, to strengthen
the
spleen
and
cultivate the mind;
(7)
restlessness, palpitations, cold
sweats, etc.
to
nourish
the
"yin"
and
to
cultivate
the
blood;
(8)
irritability, agitation and
easy
anger, etc.,
supplementing the
liver and
the
kidney. Above
all,
live
a
regular
life; be
positive;
keep body and mind engaged;
if
feasible, persist in
work
and
studying; develop
interests
widely
and
friendships
and ac-
tively adjust
to
the outside world.
