1994, the
well-respected
leader
Kim
of Korea died soon of a heart at-
tack
on
learning the sudden news of
death of his well-beloved General
-
in-
tense grief intermingled
with
impulsive
anger was
the
reason. lmpulsive
and
intense anger causes
a
prolound stimu-
lation
of
the parasympathetic
nervous
system
of
the body and spasm
of
the
blood vessel walls results so that the
blood
pressure suddenly
rises,
the heart
beats
much
faster and oxygen
con-
sumption rises very steeply.
These
events can easily lead
to
angina,
coronaries, irregular heart beats
and
severe strokes. Numerous instances
of
sudden death had occurred upon such
impulsive and intense anger.
Modern
science
found
intense
fear
and grief
lead to
excessive
secretion of adrena-
line
-
the hormone to prepare the body
to tackle
sudden
stress.
The heart beats
much
faster, the blood pressure
rises
suddenly and
a
severe stroke
may
result; if the coronary arteries cannot
supply enough oxygen,
the
heart
muscles may
then die
unexpectedly
and the heart may stop if the electric
signal is interfered. Hence, excessive
adrenaline secretion may cause death
if
the
body
systems
are
already
unhealthy.
As intense grief and anger
intermingled can cause sudden death,
control

emotions well!
